Role Overview
We are pleased to announce an upcoming opportunity for a Workday Platform Owner. This strategic leadership role will report to the Head of People Engineering and own the Workday ecosystem end-to-end. You’ll define the platform’s architectural, operational, and strategic direction, ensuring scalability, security, and alignment with enterprise standards while driving innovation and governance across a global environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Own Workday platform architecture and tenant strategy, ensuring reliability and scalability.
  • Define and maintain the Workday product roadmap aligned to enterprise priorities.
  • Lead change/release governance and integration strategy across HR domains.
  • Leverage Workday Extend to design and deploy custom applications for complex HR use cases.
  • Establish engineering standards and best practices for Workday development.
  • Partner with People Functions and Technology teams to shape product vision and drive adoption.
  • Ensure compliance, audit readiness, and data integrity across Workday services.
  • Handle strategic relationships with Workday and influence roadmap development.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Deep experience owning and operating Workday HCM platforms in complex, global organizations.
  • Strong understanding of Workday architecture, integrations, and security frameworks.
  • Validated ability to translate business needs into platform features and outcomes.
  • Experience in HR domains such as Talent, Compensation, Recruiting, Payroll, or Workforce Management.
  • Hands-on experience with Workday Extend and custom app development.
  • Experience handling and influencing stakeholders globally across HR, Technology, and Operations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in financial services or regulated environments.
  • Background in large-scale HR or technology transformation programs.
  • Strategic vendor relationship management experience.
