This is a hybrid role and a 6 month contract
We are seeking an experienced Workday Business Systems Analyst / Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in Workday HCM and integrations, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions across full-cycle implementations and ongoing support. This role requires a mix of technical configuration, functional analysis, and cross-team collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support Workday HCM implementations and enhancements, including configuration of core HCM, Absence, Benefits, Compensation, Security, and Business Processes.
- Gather requirements from business stakeholders, translate them into functional specifications, and deliver scalable solutions.
- Configure and maintain Workday features: user management, roles/profiles, permissions, custom objects, page layouts, custom fields, calculated fields, condition rules, validations, business processes, and notifications.
- Develop, troubleshoot, and maintain Workday integrations across ERP and third-party applications using EIBs, connectors, document transforms, XSLT, BIRT, and Workday Studio.
- Build and debug custom reports and collaborate with integration teams to support a complex, highly integrated system landscape.
- Conduct unit, integration, and regression testing to ensure quality and accuracy of solutions.
- Maintain system integrity by documenting business processes, managing upgrades, changes, and user updates.
- Partner with onsite and offshore teams, managers, and executives to deliver high-quality, timely releases.
- Follow established change management processes and evaluate the downstream impact of changes across the application landscape.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
- 6+ years of Workday experience, including full-cycle implementations and production support.
- Workday Pro Certifications in Integrations and HCM preferred.
- Hands-on expertise with configuration, integrations, and reporting within Workday.
- Strong ability to work independently while also thriving in a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $88.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
