Key Responsibilities
1. Field Operations & Leadership
- Lead the Crew: Work as an active member of the maintenance team, performing mowing, edging, trimming, and blowing tasks at a high level of efficiency.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct "final walks" of properties before the crew leaves to ensure all gates are closed, debris is cleared, and the cut quality meets company standards.
- Route Optimization: Assist the Supervisor in navigating the daily route, managing time spent at each stop, and adjusting for weather or equipment delays.
2. Assistant Supervisory Duties
- Training: Onboard new crew members, teaching them proper equipment operation, safety protocols, and company-specific techniques.
- Equipment Care: Oversee the daily maintenance of mowers, trimmers, and blowers. Report any mechanical issues or required repairs to the shop manager immediately.
- Reporting: Use company software or logs to track job times, chemical applications, and fuel usage.
3. Client & Safety Management
- Customer Service: Act as the first point of contact for clients on-site, addressing minor concerns or requests with a professional and helpful attitude.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all team members are wearing proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and following safety procedures during transport and operation.
Pay: $30,500.00 - $35,500.00 per year
