Responsibilities:

  • Receive and inspect all types of vehicles, collaborating with technicians to identify faults using advanced diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Diagnose vehicle malfunctions, determine root causes, and provide detailed repair recommendations to the Maintenance Department Head.
  • Supervise and allocate maintenance and repair tasks to technicians based on their areas of specialization.
  • Organize and prioritize repair operations according to urgency, with priority given to customer service vehicles.
  • Verify the quality and specifications of lubricants, petroleum products, and spare parts to ensure compatibility with vehicle models.
  • Authorize the issuance of spare parts, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and maintaining adequate stock levels for uninterrupted operations.
  • Monitor the manufacturing dates of petroleum products in storage and confirm they remain within validity periods.
  • Ensure adherence to proper disassembly and reassembly procedures, maintaining high repair standards.
  • Conduct final inspections of vehicles prior to delivery to confirm all reported faults have been fully rectified.
  • Analyze fault causes and distinguish between normal wear-and-tear and issues resulting from improper usage.
  • Train fleet maintenance technicians on assigned responsibilities and ensure awareness of emergency procedures.
  • Maintain effective communication and coordination with other departments and team members.
  • Demonstrate alignment with the company’s strategic objectives and the department head’s vision; attend periodic meetings and contribute improvement suggestions.
  • Monitor and minimize customer complaints during repair operations, ensuring recurrence of faults is prevented.
  • Control and track monthly maintenance expenditures, comparing results against the same period in the previous year.
  • Oversee compliance with scheduled preventive maintenance plans and monitor execution rates.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in a similar position or related roles.
  • Strong computer proficiency for reporting and preparing presentations, with advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
