Workshop Foreman

White Tree Cars Air Conditioners is seeking an experienced Workshop Foreman to manage and supervise daily operations in our automotive and fabrication workshop. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing technicians, ensuring quality work, maintaining safety standards, and delivering projects on time.

This role requires strong leadership skills and hands-on experience in workshop operations including fabrication, vehicle body work, mechanical tasks, and equipment management.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily workshop activities and manage technicians and helpers.
• Plan and allocate work to ensure projects are completed on schedule.
• Ensure all work is performed according to quality and safety standards.
• Inspect completed work and verify that it meets project requirements.
• Coordinate with management regarding project progress and resource requirements.
• Monitor workshop tools, equipment, and materials to ensure proper usage.
• Identify and resolve technical issues during fabrication or repair work.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop environment.
• Train and guide workshop staff to improve productivity and workmanship.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years experience in an automotive or fabrication workshop.
• Minimum 2 years experience as Workshop Supervisor / Foreman.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle body fabrication, welding, mechanical systems, or workshop equipment.
• Ability to manage a team and maintain discipline in the workshop.
• Ability to read technical drawings is an advantage.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
