workshop Helper

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist skilled mechanics, electricians, welders) with various tasks, including:
• Tool and equipment preparation and cleanup
• Material handling and transportation
• Basic repairs and maintenance
• Cleaning and organizing the workshop
• Supporting preventative maintenance activities
• Operate basic hand and power tools (with proper training and supervision)
• Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of tools
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong work ethic and a commitment to safety
• Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing priorities
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects

Preferred Skills:

• Prior experience in a workshop or manufacturing environment
• Experience with basic welding, fabrication, or machining techniques

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Repetitive motions, bending, and reaching

Work Environment:

• Shop floor environment with potential exposure to noise, dust, and fumes
• May involve working with hazardous materials

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED1,200.00 - AED2,000.00 per month

Experience:

• mechanics helper : 3 years (Preferred)
