Workshop Manager

Key Responsibilities

· Plan, organize, and supervise daily workshop operations to meet project deadlines.

· Manage production of joinery, carpentry, and metal works for fit-out projects.

· Ensure quality standards and specifications are met for all workshop outputs.

· Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and procurement team regarding material requirements and schedules.

· Control inventory of raw materials and tools; monitor usage and reduce wastage.

· Supervise and train workshop staff, ensuring adherence to safety and quality protocols.

· Prepare work schedules, allocate manpower, and monitor progress.

· Ensure preventive maintenance of workshop machines and equipment.

· Implement cost control measures to keep production within budget.

· Maintain compliance with health and safety standards in the workshop.

· Report regularly to senior management on progress, challenges, and requirements.

Requirements

· Minimum 10+ years of experience in fit-out workshop management (joinery & metal works).

· Strong technical knowledge of fit-out production processes, materials, and finishes.

· Proven leadership and team management skills.

· Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

· Valid Qatar Driving License (mandatory).

· Strong communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
