Workshop Manager

Job Summary:

We're seeking an experienced and technically sound Workshop Manager to lead our team of 25 employees independently. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong leadership abilities, and a results-oriented approach. You'll be responsible for overseeing daily workshop operations, managing staff, and ensuring high-quality service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership and Management: Supervise, motivate, and manage a team of technicians, mechanics, and support staff
• Workshop Operations: Plan, organize, and prioritize daily tasks to ensure timely completion of projects
• Inventory and Resource Management: Oversee procurement, storage, and management of tools, parts, and equipment
• Customer Service: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their requirements and expectations are met
• Health and Safety Compliance: Implement and enforce health and safety regulations to create a secure workplace
• Reporting and Documentation: Prepare regular reports on workshop performance, productivity, and areas for improvement

Requirements:

• Technical Degree: Diploma or degree in a relevant field (Mechanics, Automotive Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or related)
• Experience: Proven experience in workshop management or a similar role, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial or supervisory position
• Leadership and Communication Skills: Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Problem-Solving Abilities: Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Proficiency in Workshop Tools and Equipment: Familiarity with workshop management software and basic computer skills
