Plan and organise the daily activities of the workshop.
- Oversee and manage end-to-end activities of the Workshop Department, including people management.
- Guide and support the preparation of costing sheets for import and export items.
- Provide prompt and professional solutions to customer queries.
- Offer technical guidance and support to mechanical teams.
- Identify staff who require ongoing training and implement suitable training programs to enhance their skills.
- Review customer service orders and inspect the quality of technician repairs before vehicle release.
- Review work orders to ensure all actions are properly documented in accordance with service workshop policies and procedures.
- Plan and prepare the department’s annual budget, schedule expenditures, analyze variances, and initiate corrective actions. Closely follow up to achieve budgets and targets.
- Ensure all service jobs are properly accounted for through the Focus Software System.
- Carry out succession planning to ensure continuity in key roles.
- Minimize inventory holding in coordination with the Parts Manager.
- Support quality activities and initiatives of the company.
- Perform any other responsibilities as required by management from time to time.
