Workshop Manager - Shura Links Golf Club

Job Overview:

To control and monitor the machinery usage & condition, rotate the fleet, monitor operational hours, ensure a scheduled & intensive preventative maintenance &repair program and maintain all the Club mechanical and electrical equipment. Support the turf by maintaining the quality of cut of all mowing units. Support & assist team training & development sessions. Support & assist the Golf Operations team with the Club-Car Fleet.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Plan preventative Maintenance & schedule his team’s duties.
• Record parts usage and order replacement products and parts.
• Report any major damage or misuse of machinery to management.
• Maintain good communication levels with management.
• Provide weekly LPO and operation.
• Senior Crew Member.
• Leads by example.
• A positive team member and role model.
• Ensures all Machinery is Fueled, cleaned and respected by all Colleagues.
• Ensures all Mowing Equipment is sharp, cutting well and set-up with minimal contact.
• Have a comprehensive understanding of all maintenance operations, numbers and routes.
• Reports damaged, misbehavior or unprofessionalism by any colleague to a supervisor.
• Ensures wash-bay is left clean & tidy.
• Ensures all Colleagues Clean, fueled and correctly park their machinery at the end of their shift.
• Fill in and record daily activities.
• Prepare a weekly report, covering weekly operations, LPO’s and any outstanding issues.
• The Work-Shop Manager is responsible for the yard and its presentation.
• The Work-Shop Manager plans, supervises and quality controls all mechanical operations.

Role Qualifications

• Education: Mechanical Diploma.
• Experience: 5-7 years in the same position.
• Technical Skills: Good all-around skills - Knowledge of All Daily agronomic operations - Sound knowledge of All operational equipment - Knowledge of Electrical & Hydraulic Components of all Machinery Knowledge of material safety data - Knowledge in Fire, Life, Health & Safety System - Team player.
• Special Skills : Identification of MEP spare.
• Languages required : Good command in English & Arabic (spoken and written)
• Physical ability: Physical work, heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling of objects around 50 Kg.
