Wrecker Service Dispatcher

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Service Dispatcher to coordinate transportation and logistics operations within our company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for scheduling, tracking, and managing fleet movements, ensuring efficient delivery services. This role requires excellent communication skills, proficiency with transportation management systems, and the ability to analyze data for optimal dispatching. The Dispatcher plays a critical role in maintaining smooth operations.

Duties

• Coordinate and schedule vehicle pick ups using transportation management systems such as Towbook and Samsara GPS.
• Utilize Towbook and Samsara GPS tools to optimize routing and transportation planning.
• Manage dispatching activities for fleet vehicles, ensuring timely pickups and deliveries.

Requirements

• Must be able to work HOLIDAYS, AND WEEKENDS!!!!
• MUST BE ABLE TO COMMUTE TO SMYRNA-PLEASE FACTOR THIS IN WHEN APPLYING FOR THIS POSITION!!!!
• Proven experience with transportation management systems
• Strong knowledge of GIS, GPS technology, logistics, and transportation planning.
• Excellent analysis skills combined with dispatching experience in towing or equipment hauling.
• Proficiency in data entry, typing skills, and multi-line phone systems.
• Ability to demonstrate effective communication skills and phone etiquette in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accurate scheduling and documentation. This role offers an engaging opportunity for individuals passionate about transportation logistics to contribute to efficient dispatching operations within a dynamic organization.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
