Key Roles & Responsibilities1. Diagnostic Imaging
- Perform high-quality X-ray imaging as per physician’s instructions.
- Ensure correct patient positioning and use proper exposure techniques.
- Operate and maintain X-ray, portable X-ray, and C-arm machines safely.
- Follow radiation safety guidelines and use protective equipment.
2. Patient Care
- Verify patient identity and explain the procedure in a calm and reassuring manner.
- Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout the procedure.
- Assist patients with limited mobility during imaging.
3. Equipment Handling & Maintenance
- Conduct routine checks, cleaning, and basic maintenance of radiology equipment.
- Immediately report any equipment malfunction to the Radiology Incharge.
- Ensure proper functioning and calibration of machines.
4. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of radiology procedures performed.
- Upload and update images in PACS/RIS systems correctly.
- Ensure reports are dispatched to the respective departments on time.
5. Safety Compliance
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols for patients and staff.
- Follow infection control guidelines and maintain hygiene in the X-ray room.
- Ensure safe disposal of used consumables as per protocols.
6. Coordination & Communication
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other departments for smooth workflow.
- Support the radiology team during emergency and STAT procedures.
- Ensure timely communication of urgent findings to doctors.
7. Other Responsibilities
- Maintain inventory of films, contrast materials, and consumables.
- Participate in internal training, audits, and NABH documentation processes.
- Perform any additional tasks assigned by the management or radiology head.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma in X-Ray Technology / Radiology (DMRT / DXRT) or equivalent.
- 1–3 years of experience in diagnostic radiology (freshers can also apply depending on requirement).
- Knowledge of radiation safety, PACS, and basic computer skills.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
