Key Responsibilities
Clinical & Technical Duties
- Perform routine and specialized X-ray examinations as prescribed by physicians.
- Position patients correctly to obtain clear diagnostic images.
- Operate radiographic equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure proper radiation protection for patients, self, and staff.
- Process and verify images for quality before submitting to radiologists.
- Assist radiologists during special procedures when required.
Patient Care
- Explain procedures clearly to patients to reduce anxiety.
- Verify patient identity and examination requests.
- Provide physical assistance to elderly, pediatric, or critical patients.
- Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.
Safety & Quality Control
- Follow radiation safety protocols and ALARA principles.
- Maintain cleanliness and infection control standards in the imaging area.
- Perform routine quality checks of X-ray machines and accessories.
- Report equipment malfunction promptly.
Documentation & Coordination
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging logs.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other departments.
- Ensure proper labeling, storage, and retrieval of images.
Qualification & Experience
- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Radiography or Medical Imaging Technology.
- Registration with appropriate council (where applicable).
- Minimum 1–2 years of hospital experience preferred.
- Knowledge of digital radiography systems is an advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
