Our client is a leading business and events hub in the UAE.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections during build-up and tear-down to ensure contractor compliance with health, safety, and regulations.
• Raise awareness among contractors and exhibitors about operational and safety standards during events.
• Ensure all special risk documentation is completed and compliant.
• Monitor stand compliance and logistics operations as per schedule.
• Liaise with internal departments to ensure smooth event operations.
• Attend daily briefings, prepare documentation, and follow up on pending actions.
• Investigate incidents and report findings promptly.
• Perform pre-opening checks and follow up on stand readiness.
• Support overnight task handovers and provide status updates.
• Monitor risks proactively and implement safety controls.
• Report to the Operations Team with outstanding issues and priorities.
• Assist Operations Manager and Senior Manager with operational duties.
• Ensure all tasks align with Quality, Security, and Health & Safety standards.

What are we looking for?

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the event industry in an operational role
• Fluent in English (verbal and written)
• Computer literacy is essential
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet, and Email
• Knowledge of EBMS
• Report Writing
• IOSH certified
