Year Round Server

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest experiences by delivering outstanding service, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Your ability to manage time effectively and engage with guests will contribute to the overall success of our establishment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and introducing daily specials.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using a POS system, ensuring all requests are noted.
• Serve food and drinks in a timely manner while adhering to food safety standards.
• Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations throughout the shift.
• Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
• Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, fostering positive guest relations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely delivery of orders.
• Buss tables efficiently to prepare for new guests while maintaining an organized workspace.

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
• Excellent guest service skills with a friendly demeanor and ability to build rapport with customers.
• Familiarity with POS systems for order taking and payment processing is advantageous.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and safety practices is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
