JOB DESCRIPTION: Senior Yoga Instructor / Lead Yoga Trainer

Salary Range: ₹20,000 – ₹40,000 per month (Based on experience & capability)

2. Role Overview

We are seeking a committed and experienced Senior Yoga Instructor to lead and develop our yoga vertical.

This is not a junior instructor role. The candidate will be expected to:

• Lead daily yoga sessions
• Develop structured yoga modules
• Mentor students
• Assist in teacher training programs
• Represent the academy with professionalism and discipline

The right candidate will play a key role in shaping the academy’s growth.

3. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Class Delivery

• Conduct daily yoga sessions (Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced)
• Teach Asana, Pranayama, Meditation, Relaxation techniques
• Guide students on alignment, breath awareness, and safety
• Conduct thematic workshops (weight management, stress relief, back care, flexibility, etc.)

B. Curriculum Development

• Contribute to 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training curriculum
• Develop structured beginner-to-advanced progression modules
• Assist in building therapeutic yoga programs
• Create assessment systems for student evaluation

C. Digital Teaching

• Conduct live online classes
• Record structured yoga sessions
• Participate in educational content creation
• Support digital course development

D. Student Mentorship

• Track student progress
• Maintain discipline and class quality
• Provide guidance on practice consistency
• Build a positive and committed yoga culture

E. Operational Support

• Maintain class schedules
• Assist in workshops and special events
• Contribute to long-term academy growth

4. Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of professional yoga teaching experience
• Certification from a recognized yoga institution (RYT 200 / RYT 500 preferred)
• Strong understanding of:
• Hatha Yoga
• Vinyasa Yoga
• Pranayama techniques
• Meditation practices
• Basic anatomy and alignment
• Ability to confidently handle group classes
• Strong communication skills (Malayalam & English preferred)
