YouTube Video Producer – Daily Stoic

Daily Stoic is a leading philosophy and self-improvement brand, reaching millions of people each month across YouTube, podcasts, books, and newsletters. We’re looking for a YouTube Video Producer to help us take our channel to the next level.

This person will play a central role in shaping how Stoic philosophy reaches a global audience—conceptualizing new video ideas, researching scripts, overseeing editing, and ensuring every video is optimized for growth and impact.

What You’ll Do

• Content Development : Pitch and conceptualize new YouTube video ideas aligned with Daily Stoic’s brand and audience.
• Research & Writing : Conduct background research, outline, and help draft scripts for videos.
• Production Management : Coordinate and manage the video production process from idea → script → shoot → edit → upload.
• Editing (Preferred) : Edit videos or oversee outside editors, ensuring high-quality, engaging content.
• Publishing & Optimization : Manage uploads, write compelling titles/descriptions, and optimize content for YouTube performance.
• Creative Collaboration : Work closely with Ryan Holiday and the Daily Stoic team to continually improve video storytelling and audience engagement.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong knowledge of YouTube as a platform (algorithms, retention strategies, thumbnail/title optimization).
• Excellent storytelling and research skills—comfortable turning complex philosophical ideas into engaging, accessible scripts.
• Experience producing content for YouTube or digital platforms.
• Strong project management skills, able to oversee multiple videos at different stages.
• Video editing experience (Premiere, Final Cut, or similar) is a major plus but not strictly required.
• Filming/shooting experience is a plus.
• Self-starter who thrives in a creative, fast-paced, and independent work environment.
