Experience Required:
Minimum 15 years in Pharmaceuticals Sales (Respiratory, Anti-infectives, or Acute Therapy areas)
Key Responsibilities & Strategic Deliverables
1. Sales & Business Growth
-
Achieve overall and brand-wise sales targets and growth objectives for the assigned zone, aligned with divisional goals.

Deliver budgeted profit margins and ensure optimal product mix and market share.

Develop and implement sales forecasts and plans, meeting weekly and monthly targets.

Drive performance in underperforming territories through focused interventions and joint fieldwork.

Ensure adherence to business hygiene parameters, company policies, and SOP-driven activity execution.

Maintain accurate sales forecasting and ensure timely collections.
2. Leadership, Team Development & Retention

Build, lead, and motivate high-performing sales teams; address competence and discipline issues effectively.

Conduct field induction, training, coaching, and mentoring for direct reports.

Act as a bridge between Marketing and Sales, ensuring smooth collaboration and goal alignment.

Maintain 100% field staff deployment and enhance retention through clear communication and engagement.

Support talent development initiatives and prepare team members for internal promotions.
3. Strategy Execution & Market Intelligence

Drive achievement of Key Effort Indicators (Doctor Call Average, MCR coverage, KOL engagement, YPM, etc.).

Implement company strategies with precision and counter competitor moves effectively.

Ensure flawless execution of marketing programs and provide objective feedback to HOD and Product Management Team.
