As a Project Planning Manager Engineer at COLAS Rail Egypt, you will be a key member of the Project&rsquo;s management team, wielding strong planning expertise in multi-disciplinary construction projects. Your role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:</p>
<ul><li><b>Project Schedule Setup:</b> Develop and establish the project schedule encompassing all activities of the Power Supply &amp; Depot equipment partner, covering design, procurement, installation, and testing &amp; commissioning phases. Starting from the Initial Work Program (IWP) schedule, incorporate contractual milestones and detail all activities.</li>
<li><b>Sequence of Activities:</b> Set up sequences of activities within the Power Supply sector across subsystems and packages using Precedence Diagramming Method (PDM) and rolling wave planning techniques. Ensure compliance of sequences within the partner&rsquo;s schedule; optimize the schedule, highlight risks of delays, and collaborate with operational teams on mitigation plans.</li>
<li><b>Coordination and Liaison:</b> Collaborate with the consortium-level Project Control team responsible for consolidating the partner&rsquo;s schedule. Participate in weekly schedule meetings to maintain alignment.</li>
<li><b>Documentation and Reporting:</b> Define necessary schedule documentation, including schedule bar charts, Tilos extracts, and narrative assumptions, ensuring adherence to contractual objectives by all stakeholders. Prepare progress reports and performance reports as required.</li>

</div><div><p>The Contracts Engineer is responsible for supporting the administration and management of contracts throughout the project lifecycle to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company standards. The role includes assisting in the preparation, review, and management of upstream and downstream contracts, monitoring contractual performance, handling correspondence, supporting variation and claims management, and coordinating with project teams, clients, and subcontractors. The Contracts Engineer also contributes to risk mitigation, cost control, contract close-out activities, and the preparation of reports and documentation to safeguard the company&rsquo;s commercial and contractual interests.</p>

Supporting the project execution team in starting the Project (support in issuing Bonds and Insurances)<li>.</li>
Preparation of contract management plans in lin<li>e</li>
Management of upstream contracts<li>.</li>
Management of partnership agreements<li>.</li>
Management of downstream contract<li>.</li>
Drafting of contractual corresponded and review of all correspondence issued by the Project<li>.</li>
Management of changes (variations and contractual deviations) and negotiating these changes with clients<li>.</li>
Preparation of claims for extension of time and claims for additional cost<li>.</li>
Preparation and review of minutes of meetings<li>.</li>
Close-out of the Project and final settlement of claims under upstream and downstream contract<li>.</li>

</div><div><p>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in engineering from recognized university</p><br>

</div><div><p>3+ years&rsquo; experience among which at least 2 years in Contract Management</p>
<p>Experience in infrastructure or industrial projects</p>
<p>Experience in managing projects in Consortium or Joint ventures</p>

<p>Good negotiation skills</p>
<p>Analytical thinking skills and problem-solving abilities</p>
<p>Attention to details</p>
<p>Knowledge of legal requirements involved with contracts</p><br>
