Prep Technician

This senior position requires expert-level technical skills, leadership abilities, and a strategic approach to maintenance management. The technician will lead major maintenance projects, drive continuous improvement, and ensure the highest levels of equipment reliability and safety.</div>
<div></div><div><b>Job Duties and Responsibilities:</b></div>
<ul><li>Strategic Maintenance Oversight: Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive maintenance strategies and programs for complex industrial equipment and systems, including predictive and condition-based maintenance.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Advanced Troubleshooting: Provide expert-level troubleshooting and problem-solving for critical and complex equipment issues. Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and methodologies to resolve persistent or high-impact problems.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Project Leadership: Oversee and manage major maintenance and capital improvement projects. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and external vendors, to ensure project success and alignment with organizational goals.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance, reliability, and safety. Analyze maintenance data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for optimization.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Team Leadership and Development: Supervise, mentor, and train Maintenance Technicians Level 1, 2, and 3. Provide guidance on advanced maintenance techniques, safety practices, and best practices.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Compliance and Safety Management: Safety is a condition of employment. Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies. Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and compliance checks.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and modifications. Prepare and present reports on maintenance performance, project status, and key metrics to senior management.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Emergency Response: Lead the response to major equipment failures and emergency maintenance situations. Develop and implement contingency plans to minimize downtime and production impact.</li></ul>
<div></div><div><b>Qualifications:</b></div>
<div>Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance with a significant track record of managing complex systems and leading maintenance teams. Previous experience in a senior or supervisory role is required.</div>
<div>Must have a valid State issued driver&rsquo;s license to operate a forklift.</div>

<div></div><div>Environment: Work in an industrial setting with exposure to machinery, noise, varying temperatures, and confined spaces. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required. Working at heights. Operate forklift and aerial lift.</div>

Maintenance Technician

<div>The Fabrication Operator is responsible for the fabrication, processing, and finishing of quartz slabs and products in accordance with production specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements. This role involves operating fabrication equipment, handling quartz materials, and ensuring finished products meet company and customer expectations.</div>
<div></div><div><b>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</b></div>
<ul><li>Operate fabrication equipment such as saws, CNC machines, polishers, routers, and edge-profiling machines used in quartz manufacturing</li>
<li>Measure, cut, shape, polish, and finish quartz slabs according to work orders, drawings, and specifications</li>
<li>Inspect materials and finished products for defects, accuracy, and quality compliance</li>
<li>Safely handle, move, and position quartz slabs using cranes, forklifts, carts, and other material-handling equipment</li>
<li>Perform basic machine setup, adjustments, and routine maintenance</li>
<li>Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with OSHA and company safety standards</li>
<li>Follow all dust control, PPE, and silica exposure prevention procedures</li>
<li>Accurately complete production documentation, work orders, and quality records</li>
<li>Communicate with supervisors and team members regarding production status, issues, or material needs</li>
<li>Assist with loading, unloading, and staging of materials as required</li>
<li>Perform other duties as assigned to support production operations</li>
