Economics Teacher (CBSE Grade 11/12 & IGCSE)

Job Summary

We are hiring an experienced Economics Teacher to teach CBSE Grade 11 and 12 and IGCSE (CIE/Edexcel) curriculum. The candidate should have strong subject knowledge, classroom experience, and familiarity with board exam patterns and assessment standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Economics to CBSE Grade 11 and 12 students
• Teach IGCSE/GCSE Economics (Cambridge/Edexcel preferred)
• Prepare lesson plans aligned with curriculum guidelines
• Conduct assessments, mock exams, and revision sessions
• Provide feedback to students and maintain academic records
• Support students with exam techniques and structured answer writing
• Maintain a professional and disciplined classroom environment

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in CBSE Grade 11/12
• Experience teaching IGCSE Economics (CIE or Edexcel)
• Strong understanding of board exam formats and marking schemes
• Good communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications

• B.Ed qualification
• UAE teaching experience
• Experience teaching both CBSE and IGCSE curriculum
• Well versed with offline and online mode of teaching
• Ability to teach small groups and one-to-one sessions
