1St Commis Pastry

Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and skilled 1st Commis Pastry Chef to join our boutique pastry kitchen. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience working with high-end pastries and desserts, and a strong eye for detail and creativity.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the preparation and presentation of premium desserts, cakes, and pastries

- Support daily production of items such as tarts, éclairs, macarons, and cookies

- Maintain consistency in portioning and presentation according to brand standards

- Follow hygiene and food safety protocols at all times

- Ensure workstations and tools are cleaned and maintained properly

- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations

- Suggest new ideas or seasonal product improvements to the Head Chef

Requirements:

- Minimum 2 years of pastry kitchen experience (preferably in boutique or fine dining)

- Knowledge of modern and classic pastry techniques

- Strong attention to detail and presentation

- Team player with a positive attitude

- Basic understanding of stock and ingredient handling

- Willingness to learn and grow in a creative pastry environment

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED3,000.00 per month
