    POSITION PURPOSE:
    Provides comprehensive administrative support to the Director of Student Service and other administrative personnel.
    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
    • Answer and respond to or refer incoming inquiries.
    • Prepare, copy, and distribute materials such as correspondence, reports, and bulletins; assist with processing and/or drafting selected email or other documents.
    • Schedule appointments and meetings as assigned or directed.
    • Comply with and maintain knowledge of all policies and regulations pertinent to job responsibilities.
    • Coordinate office equipment repair and office supply inventory as needed.
    • Process routine forms, including purchase requests, Personnel Action Forms, etc., as assigned or directed.
    • Maintain electronic and hard copy files.
    • Compile statistical reports as assigned or directed.
    • Perform routine bookkeeping functions as assigned or directed.
    • Schedule travel arrangements; prepare and process travel vouchers, mileage, stipends, etc.

    ADDITIONAL DUTIES:
    Performs other related tasks as assigned by the Principal, Chief Officer, Superintendent or other district office administrator as designated by the Superintendent.

    QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Bachelor's degree plus thre years of progressively more responsible office work preferred
    • Associate's degree or equivalent from a two year college plus five years relevant experience; or, high school diploma and seven years relevant experience.
    • Bilingual preferred.
    EXPERIENCE:
    • To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. Ability to use the Internet for research applications. Minimum of 65 wpm. Database management skills are desirable. Must possess working knowledge of common office equipment, such as fax, copier, calculator, etc.
