A/C Technician

Job Summary:

The AC Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning systems, refrigeration units, and ventilation systems to ensure optimal performance and comfort in company facilities or client sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including split units, package units, chillers, and ventilation systems.
• Perform routine maintenance checks to identify and resolve mechanical or electrical issues.
• Diagnose equipment faults and carry out necessary repairs or replacements of parts.
• Monitor and maintain proper functioning of temperature control systems.
• Check and recharge refrigerant levels when required.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and company maintenance procedures.
• Maintain daily logs and records of all maintenance and repair works.
• Respond promptly to service requests and breakdowns.
• Coordinate with other technicians and departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist in installation of new air conditioning systems and related equipment.

Qualifications and Skills:

• ITI / Diploma in Air Conditioning or HVAC Technology.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in AC maintenance and repair.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems related to HVAC.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Physical ability to work in confined spaces or at heights.

Working Conditions:

• May require working outdoors or in hot environments.
• Flexible to work overtime, weekends, or shifts when needed.
