AC Technician

Job Purpose:

To install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot split AC units, ducted systems, compressors, and other HVAC equipment to ensure efficient operation and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain split units, ducted AC systems, cassette units, and package units.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot AC faults, including cooling issues, electrical faults, and mechanical problems.
• Carry out compressor repair/replacement, gas refilling, leak testing, and brazing works.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance (PM) for HVAC systems.
• Inspect and repair fan motors, capacitors, thermistors, evaporator/condensers, and other major components.
• Conduct duct installation, duct insulation, and air balancing as needed.
• Maintain records of work done and report major issues to the supervisor.
• Follow safety standards and protect tools, equipment, and company assets.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience as an HVAC/AC Technician.
• Strong experience in split AC, duct work, compressor work, and troubleshooting.
• Technical diploma/certificate in HVAC or Refrigeration.
• Knowledge of tools such as gauges, leak detectors, vacuum pump, multimeter, etc.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Must be physically fit and able to work in hot environments.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: BD150.000 - BD160.000 per month
