AC Technician

Job Summary

An AC Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning systems and equipment. The role ensures all cooling systems operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with company and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems, including split units, package units, and central HVAC systems
• Perform routine preventive maintenance (cleaning filters, checking gas levels, inspecting electrical components)
• Diagnose faults and carry out necessary repairs on compressors, motors, thermostats, and control systems
• Handle refrigerants safely and ensure proper gas charging and recovery
• Conduct system performance testing and troubleshooting
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company standards
• Maintain records of maintenance and repair work
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and service calls
• Coordinate with supervisors and clients regarding service schedules and issues

Skills & Requirements

• Proven experience as an AC Technician or HVAC Technician
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical systems, and refrigeration principles
• Ability to read technical drawings and manuals
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with tools and equipment used in HVAC servicing
• Basic knowledge of safety standards and procedures
• Good communication skills

Qualifications

• Diploma/ITI in HVAC, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (preferred)
• Certification in refrigeration and air conditioning (advantage)
• Valid UAE driving license (preferred, if field work required)

Working Conditions

• May involve working at heights, outdoors, or in confined spaces
• Requires handling tools, equipment, and sometimes heavy components
• On-call or emergency work may be required

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
