AC Technician

VGO TEL Mobiles is looking for an AC Technician for the factory premises:

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Precision Temperature Control: Maintain strict temperature and humidity parameters in the assembly, packaging, and testing zones to ensure proper function of the mobile devices.
• Cleanroom Maintenance: Service and maintain HEPA filters, air handling units (AHUs), and ventilation fans to keep the factory floor free of dust and micro-particles.
• Preventive Maintenance (PM): Execute scheduled PM tasks like coil cleaning, filter replacement, and refrigerant level checks on Variable Refrigerant Flow and Variable Refrigerant Volume (VRF/VRV) systems, chillers, and split AC units.
• Breakdown Troubleshooting: Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults rapidly to minimize production line downtime.
• System Installation & Repairs: Assist with the installation of new cooling units, replace defective parts (compressors, fans, capacitors), and handle refrigerant safely.
• Logkeeping: Record daily maintenance logs, part replacements, and system performance metrics.
• HSE Compliance: Adhere to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards, including the use of proper PPE and safe work procedures on high-capacity factory equipment.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Education: Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in HVAC/Mechanical or a relevant vocational certification/ITI trade certificate.
• Experience: 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in industrial HVAC or commercial air conditioning, ideally within a manufacturing or factory setting.
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of electrical troubleshooting, brazing, gas charging, and reading electrical schematics.
