Accounant

Glam Moda is a fast-growing luxury fashion, beauty, and lifestyle e-commerce brand operating across Bahrain and the GCC. We are looking for a highly skilled Accountant to manage financial records, reporting, and compliance in a dynamic retail and e-commerce environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records, journals, and ledgers
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Reconcile bank statements, payment gateways, and Shopify sales reports
• Monitor cash flow, expenses, and profitability
• Handle VAT filings, tax compliance, and regulatory reporting
• Process payroll and employee expense claims
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Work closely with management on financial insights and cost control
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, and external consultants
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls

Job Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience (retail or e-commerce preferred)
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Experience using accounting software (QuickBooks, Zoho, Tally, or similar)
• Experience handling VAT and regional tax compliance
• Ability to manage multi-currency transactions
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks
• Good communication skills in English
• Experience with Shopify, POS systems, or online payment platforms is a strong advantage

Preferred Skills (Bonus)

• Experience in luxury retail or fashion brands
• Knowledge of inventory costing and stock reconciliation
• Experience with multi-country financial reporting
• Audit experience or financial control background

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: BD200.000 - BD250.000 per month
