Accounant

Job Summary: The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a thorough understanding of accounting principles, with a keen interest in the cosmetics industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare and maintain financial statements and reports.
• Perform monthly reconciliations and maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in tax filings.
• Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions.
• Collaborate with other departments to support financial planning and reporting.
• Assist in the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably in the cosmetics or retail industry.
• Strong understanding of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks etc).
• Proficiency in MS Excel and financial modelling.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
