About Us

Kaaj is an agentic AI company that automates end-to-end credit analysis for SMB lenders, equipment finance companies, and commercial brokers. We exist to solve a structural problem: small business loans under $1M aren't profitable for most lenders to process manually, leaving 33 million small businesses chronically undercapitalized. Our technology eliminates the manual origination to underwriting work that makes small business lending economically unviable at scale so lenders can say yes faster, to more borrowers, at lower cost. We're an early-stage company founded in 2024 and moving fast.

Role Overview

We're hiring an Account Executive to own Kaaj's revenue motion from the ground up. This is a high-ownership, quota-carrying role where you'll work with GTM leadership and the founders to build and close pipeline in the small-business lending ecosystem.

You'll run the full sales cycle and help shape how Kaaj goes to market as we scale. This is a role for someone who is excited about hunting, closing, and building in ambiguous early-stage environments, and interested in fintech, lending, and AI.

What You'll Do

Sales & Revenue

  • Own the full sales cycle: prospecting → qualification → demos → pilots → close
  • Run outbound campaigns targeting small business lenders and banks
  • Craft and manage personalized outreach, sequences, and cadences
  • Build and manage relationships with decision-makers such as SVPs/VPs of Credit, Risk, Operations, and Technology
  • Accurately forecast pipeline and hit revenue targets
  • Represent Kaaj at industry conferences, events, and webinars
  • Maintain clean, up-to-date pipeline and activity logs in CRM

GTM Collaboration

  • Provide structured field feedback that sharpens messaging, ICP, and positioning
  • Partner with founders and GTM leadership on collateral such as case studies, one-pagers, and pitch decks
  • Bring market insights back to the team to improve how we tell the Kaaj story to lenders and brokers

Who You Are

Must Have

  • 2–3 years of B2B SaaS or fintech sales experience, with a track record of closing complex deals
  • Exceptional communicator who can clearly explain technical and financial concepts to financial services buyers
  • Organized, persistent, and rigorous about follow-up
  • Comfortable owning a number and building process from scratch in an early-stage environment
  • Excited by AI and transforming legacy lending workflows

Nice to Have

  • Based in the East Coast
  • Familiarity with the small business lending ecosystem, equipment financing, or credit underwriting
  • Experience selling into community banks or non-bank lenders
  • Prior experience as an early or sole AE at a startup

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
