Account Manager

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Account Manager who is a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA). The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, overseeing audits, and maintaining the accuracy and integrity of financial data. This role demands strong analytical skills, leadership, and a proactive approach to financial management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Ensure timely closing of books and reporting to senior management.
• Coordinate and support internal and statutory audits, and liaise with auditors.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and internal controls.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights for decision-making and cost control.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Manage a team of accountants and provide mentorship and training as required.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, operations, procurement) to support business activities.
• Maintain documentation and ensure proper record-keeping for all financial transactions.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Chartered Accountant (CA) – must be qualified.
• Minimum 3–5 years of post-qualification experience in accounting or financial management.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar ERP systems).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage and lead a team.
