Light Metals Coloring (LMC) is a nationally recognized metal finishing company serving the aerospace, medical, defense, and firearms industries. As we enter an exciting new chapter of growth, we’re seeking a driven and relationship-focused Account Manager to help expand our partnerships and increase market share.

About the Role
The Account Manager plays a key role in our 2026 growth strategy, championing the theme: “More Partnerships, Increasing Share of Wallet.” You’ll bridge Sales, Operations, Marketing, and Customer Service to ensure every client interaction is intentional, consistent, and aligned with our brand promise.

This isn’t just about maintaining accounts—it’s about building them. You’ll manage customer relationships, track every opportunity in our CRM, coordinate trade shows and marketing initiatives, and ensure clients experience the professionalism and precision that define LMC. Requirements:
What You’ll Do
  • Serve as the main point of contact for assigned customers, ensuring needs are met with speed and accuracy.
  • Manage CRM data, ensuring every lead, quote, and follow-up is tracked and actioned.
  • Support quoting, onboarding, and customer satisfaction initiatives.
  • Partner with leadership to achieve annual growth goals—including securing new clients in the medical, aerospace, and firearms sectors.
  • Coordinate trade shows, marketing campaigns, and outreach efforts to ensure every dollar invested turns into measurable ROI.
  • Identify process gaps and drive improvements across the sales and service cycle.
What You'll Bring
  • 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, account management, or business development, ideally in manufacturing or industrial sectors.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong CRM proficiency (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar).
  • Excellent communication, organization, and follow-through skills.
  • A data-driven mindset with a passion for client relationships and operational excellence.

Details
Location: Southington, CT
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday
Travel: Approx. 10–15% for trade shows and client visits
Compensation: Competitive Total Rewards commensurate with experience
