New Day Office is a thirty-eight-year-old commercial interiors firm with an inspiring culture where the staff is on mission together and the client is highly respected. We are seeking a full-time Account Manager in Roanoke, VA to support existing clients and new business development across diverse environments including commercial, healthcare, education, and government settings.

The Account Manager serves as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring exceptional service and long-term client satisfaction. This role combines relationship management and sales support and is ideal for a high-energy professional who thrives in a dynamic, client-focused environment. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in account management and customer relations, along with strong communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. This position requires strategic collaboration with internal teams, manufacturers, and contractors to deliver seamless results from concept to completion. Travel rate is 10%.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Serve as the single point-of-contact for all client communications, services, and project activities
  • Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with clients and their partners (A&D firms, contractors, etc.)
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of client goals, standards, and business practices
  • Provide prompt, thorough responses to client inquiries and requests
  • Develop detailed project plans, product specifications, and professional proposals either on own or with design staff
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accuracy and profitability of sales quotes
  • Secure signed orders, terms, and purchase authorizations
  • Stay involved through project delivery to ensure satisfaction and address changes in scope
  • Promote the full range of New Day’s products and services to accounts
  • Present new products and service opportunities to clients to strengthen relationships and drive growth
  • Identify additional sales opportunities

Candidate must have a satisfactory driving record and be able to pass pre-employment drug testing as well as background checks to maintain access to military bases and client sites.
