The Account Manager (Sales & Business Development) is responsible for managing assigned customer accounts, driving business growth, and ensuring the effective preparation of sales proposals and forecasts. The role requires close coordination with the Sales Head, Country Manager, and relevant internal teams to support strategic sales objectives and maintain strong customer relationships.
Responsibilities:

Serve as Account Manager with a dual function in Business Development, overseeing assigned customer accounts and identifying growth opportunities.

Provide individual account feedback to the Reporting Manager for the annual sales budget, in cooperation with the Sales Head and Country Manager.

Update and maintain NetSuite entries, including Opportunities, Estimates, Commits, Sales Orders (SO), and Purchase Orders (PO).

Review account budgets and report any deviations on a monthly basis.

Prepare sales and production forecasts as requested by Nera, ensuring accuracy for both operational planning and financial projections.

Evaluate requests for quotation (RFQs) from potential clients and assess commercial and technical requirements.

Take overall responsibility for the timely, profitable, and high-quality preparation of bids in response to client requests for assigned accounts.

Present profitability analyses—including Cash Flow, IRR, and Project Costing—to support management decision-making for go/no-go approvals.

Maintain strong customer relationships and carry out market-facing activities, including technology awareness initiatives, roadshows, market and competitive analysis, and the development of the sales funnel. Provide regular feedback to the Country Manager, Business Heads, and HQ Business and Technology teams.

Ensure proper preparation for, and participation in, Project Hand-over meetings to Operations in accordance with the process manual.

Support Operations/Projects teams in customer meetings when requested by the Project Manager.

Develop and maintain relationships with OEMs and their distributors for product information, pre-bid business development, deal registrations, offers and discounts, and OEM/distributor contract terms in line with corporate policies and compliance requirements.

Perform any other sales-related duties as assigned.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.

Professional experience and training in Network Infrastructure (NI) and Cybersecurity solutions.

Minimum of three years’ experience in a Sales Account Management role with an OEM, distributor, or systems integrator, with a proven track record of meeting sales quotas within the enterprise and/or government sectors.

Experience working with a Mobile Network Operator (MNO) or service provider is considered an added advantage.
