Account Manager / Sales Representative

Groundswell Networks is a Baltimore-based cloud phone system provider specializing in enterprise communications solutions for small and midsize businesses. We're a small team that competes on service, expertise, and relationships — not on price alone.

Position Summary

We are seeking a driven Account Manager/Sales Representative to join our team. This role works directly with the business owner and is responsible for managing existing client accounts and developing new business in the greater Baltimore area.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day relationships with existing customers
  • Identify upsell and expansion opportunities within current accounts
  • Prospect and develop new business leads through outreach and networking
  • Assist with proposals, presentations, and client solution design
  • Support general business operations as needed — this is a small business environment and a willingness to wear multiple hats is expected and valued

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience in B2B sales, account management, or a customer-facing business role
  • Familiarity with cloud communications, VoIP, or IT services is a plus but not required
  • Strong communication and follow-up skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage a pipeline independently
  • Must be local to the Baltimore, MD area
