Accountant

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Accountant, you will be a key member of our dynamic team, overseeing and managing various functions with a primary focus on accounting, monthly closing, and reporting activities. Your role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial records, Inventory reconciliation, identifying areas for improvement in internal controls, and providing valuable insights to enhance operational efficiency.

Transaction Verification and Compliance:

• Verify the accuracy of financial transactions.
• Ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.

Monthly Closing and Documentation:

• Conduct monthly closing activities, including inventory and bank reconciliation and documentation management.
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of financial statements.

Communication and Correspondence:

• Respond to emails and other correspondence within 24 to 48 hours, even during leave.
• Ensure all responses are provided within 1 hours during working days.

Reporting:

• Prepare and send daily, weekly reports every Monday through Friday without need for reminders.
• Utilize analytical skills to track and create reports as required.

Operational Efficiency:

• Ensure operations run smoothly following SOPs.
• Collaborate with relevant teams to address discrepancies and implement corrective measures.

Compliance and Regulation:

• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, accounting standards, and company policies.
• Present findings to relevant stakeholders and participate in improvement discussions.

What we are looking for

• Incumbent should be ACCA/ACMA/CA/CPA qualified along with other Education
• 5 years’ experience the relevant domain. with strong knowledge of IFRS and GAAP with practical exposure.
• 3 years’ experience is compulsory and articles completed from the top 10 audit firms will be preferred.
• Strong Knowledge in analyzing financial data and providing insights into relevant concerns, Bank Reconciliation, preparation financial statements.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, Analytical mindset with strong math skills.
• Knowledge of MS Excel & ERP systems (e.g., Sage) for accurate tracking and reporting and ability to work on bulk data. Knowledge of Data Analyzing would be preferred
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English. Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Candidates who are available to join immediately / on short notice will be preferred.
• Note, this will be a Night Shift job to provide the support in the US Head office. Shift Days & Timing would be Monday to Friday Miami FL EST Zone

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Rs200,000.00 per month
