We are a construction company in Qatar seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will oversee the company’s financial health, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support the management team with financial insights to drive business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management:

• Maintain and manage the company’s accounting records and books.
• Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.

Accounts Payable/Receivable:

• Manage supplier payments and reconcile invoices.
• Monitor customer accounts and ensure timely payments.

Financial Reporting:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Submit financial reports to management and stakeholders.

Taxation and Compliance:

• Ensure timely and accurate tax filings
• Comply with local financial regulations and audits.

Cash Flow Management:

• Monitor cash flow and prepare liquidity reports.
• Manage banking activities and reconciliations.

Cost Control:

• Evaluate costs related to procurement and operations.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimization.

Software Management:

• Use accounting software to streamline processes.
• Maintain accuracy and confidentiality in data entry.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional certifications like CPA, ACCA, or CMA (preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in construction.
• Proficiency in accounting software
• Strong knowledge of Qatar’s tax regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
