Job Title: Accountant
Location: Bhiwandi
Experience: 2 – 4 years

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting operations specific to logistics and transportation expenses.
• Record and reconcile freight, shipping, warehousing, and import/export costs.
• Verify and process vendor invoices related to logistics and transportation.
• Coordinate with logistics and procurement departments to track delivery costs and timelines.
• Monitor inventory movements and ensure accurate accounting of stock in transit.
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Perform cost analysis and identify opportunities for savings in logistics operations.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, tax laws, and company policies.
• Support internal and external audits related to logistics and supply chain expenses.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Accounting/Finance.
• 2–4 years of accounting experience (preferably in logistics/transportation industry).
• Proficiency in Tally/ERP and MS Excel.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliances.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate across departments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
