Job Description

The Accountant is responsible in maintaining proper record and accounting of daily operations in Alfardan Properties - Oman Branch, while ensuring that the accounting records are maintained in compliance with the Company’s Policies and Procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the preparation of periodical management information reports.
  • Providing financial information through regularly generated reports
  • Ensuring that set Accounting Processes, policies, systems and programs across Business Units are followed.
  • Provide accurate, timely and relevant financial information.
  • Maintenance of organized & complete source document files, ensuring compliance with policies & procedures.
  • Ensures that the GL is up to date and reconciled.
  • Timely & accurate processing of all documents, and maintenance of supporting records.
  • Contributes to development of improved finance policies & processes.
  • Satisfaction of Business Units with Finance services.
  • Proper review of all information produced under area of responsibility.
  • Preparation & analyses of Reports.
  • Meet agreed time for work completion/deadlines.
  • Liaison with other departments for work related matters.
  • Ensures timely & accurate processing of non-payroll disbursements to individuals, and other entities.
