Accountant

Medmax Technologies is looking for a skilled Accountant to join our growing team. This role is ideal for an individual with strong experience in taxation, compliance, and financial reporting, who can ensure accuracy and efficiency across all accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Manage and file company tax returns, ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements.
✅ Handle tax compliance, planning, and research to optimize tax efficiency.
✅ Prepare and reconcile monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
✅ Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and day-to-day accounting operations.
✅ Manage monthly salary tax calculations and prepare/distribute salary tax certificates for employees.
✅ Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and relevant regulations.
✅ Support audits and liaise with external auditors.
✅ Oversee company registrations and compliance matters with SECP, PSEB, and other regulatory departments.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s / ACCA / CA / CMA preferred).
3–5 years of proven accounting experience, with a strong background in taxation and compliance.
Hands-on experience in dealing with SECP, PSEB, or other departmental registrations is a must.
Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks/ERP) and MS Excel.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs40,000.00 - Rs70,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Rawalpindi Gulzar-E-Quaid (46222): Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
