Accountant

Kuala, India

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update financial records in compliance with accepted policies and procedures.
  • Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable.
  • Perform general ledger reconciliations and journal entries.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting.
  • Handle tax preparations and coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants.
  • Ensure timely bank reconciliations.
  • Monitor cash flow and prepare financial analysis as needed.
  • Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of proven accounting experience (adjust based on level).
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, SAP, Oracle).
  • Solid knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting.
  • Strong attention to detail and confidentiality.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and other MS Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Candidates from Kerala
  • Experience in [Travel industry , if applicable].
  • Certification like CA (Inter), CMA, or equivalent is a plus.

Location: Kolkata (Relocation Required)
