Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage financial activities for our S Vyasa University project. The candidate will be responsible for handling accounts, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain day-to-day accounts, ledgers, and vouchers.
• Handle accounts payable, receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll processing.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for the project.
• Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and other statutory requirements.
• Support audits (internal and statutory) and coordinate with auditors.
• Manage project-related funds and expense tracking.
• Provide accurate financial data for reporting to management and stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Finance/Accounting/(Master’s degree ).
• 3–5 years of proven experience in accounting, preferably in the education sector.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and statutory compliance.
• Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and accounting software.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
