Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage financial records, ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and contribute to the financial health of our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, managing budgets, and supporting audits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting
  • File tax returns and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements
  • Support external audits by providing documentation and answering auditor inquiries
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insight and support

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar role
  • Solid knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero,Tally)
  • Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with databases
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time, office environment depending on company policy
  • May require occasional overtime during reporting periods or audits

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
