Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month

About the Role: We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our growing retail team. This is a great opportunity for professionals passionate about accounting and compliance, and eager to work in a structured environment.

You will be responsible for handling daily accounting tasks, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and supporting management with accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle daily accounting tasks like Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and ledger entries
• Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and MIS reports
• Perform month-end and year-end closing and reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, ITR, and other statutory requirements
• Manage inventory accounting and cost analysis
• Support audits with proper documentation
• Generate reports as needed by management
• Process entries like contra, journal, receipt, and payment
• Work with teams to optimize costs and improve processes
• Follow accounting standards and company policies

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 2–3 years of accounting experience
- Proficient in Tally (knowledge of Zoho or other ERP tools is a plus)
- Good understanding of AP/AR, GST, MIS reporting, and compliances
- Experience with inventory accounting is preferred (F&V domain is a plus)
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Able to work independently and meet deadlines
- Proficient in MS Excel and accounting tools
