Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accountant with audit experience to manage day-to-day financial transactions, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and assist in internal/external audits. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, auditing practices, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and statements.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Handle accounts payable, receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger entries.
  • Support statutory audits, internal audits, and compliance checks.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS / GAAP and local tax regulations.
  • Assist in developing and implementing internal financial controls.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to management.
  • Liaise with auditors, regulatory bodies, and stakeholders as required.
  • Monitor cash flow, expenses, and financial performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent is an advantage).
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of accounting experience, with at least 1–2 years in audit (internal or external).
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards, auditing principles, and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle) and MS Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in [insert industry, e.g., construction, healthcare, trading, automotive, etc. i
  • Knowledge of VAT and other local tax regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
