Role Overview:

The Accountant will be responsible for managing the company’s financial records, ensuring accuracy in accounting processes, preparing financial reports, and maintaining compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation of all financial transactions.
• Prepare journal entries, reconcile accounts, and manage general ledger activities.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Monitor cash flow and support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Ensure compliance with Qatar Labour Law, tax regulations, and other statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits.
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure the security of financial information.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as CMA, CIMA, CA (atleast partly qualified)
• 3-5 years of proven work experience as an Accountant.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software.
• Advanced skills in MS Excel and financial data analysis.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
