Accountant (Bullion Trading)

We're looking for a skilled Accountant to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the bullion trading sector and a solid understanding of financial operations specific to this industry.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage all accounting transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Perform daily reconciliation of bullion inventory, cash, and bank accounts.
• Monitor and manage foreign exchange transactions and their impact on financial records.
• Ensure compliance with local accounting standards (IFRS) and regulations from the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) and other relevant authorities.
• Process payroll, manage employee expenses, and handle VAT returns.
• Collaborate with auditors and assist with year-end audits.
• Provide financial insights and reports to management to support decision-making.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• A professional certification like CPA, ACCA, or CMA is preferred.
• A minimum of 1 year of proven experience as an Accountant in a bullion trading company in Dubai is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations in the UAE.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Bullion Accounting Software or Tally ) and MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED4,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

• Bullion Trading: 1 year (Required)
