Role Overview

The Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with GST and statutory norms, and supporting audits and MIS reporting. This role requires a hands-on, detail-oriented professional who can work in a fast-paced retail + e-commerce environment.

Key Responsibilities1. Accounting & Bookkeeping

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in Tally/Zoho/ERP
• Record all purchase, sales, expenses, and inventory transactions
• Manage vendor bills, payments, and reconciliations
• Reconcile bank accounts, payment gateways, and UPI accounts regularly

2. Taxation & Compliance

• Ensure timely GST filing – GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9
• Handle TDS returns and payment compliance
• Assist in statutory filings and compliance documentation

3. MIS & Financial Reports

• Prepare monthly P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements
• Generate MIS reports for management review
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control

4. Coordination

• Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and tax advisors
• Liaise with internal departments (sales, operations, procurement) for financial inputs

5. Inventory & Billing

• Monitor stock movement across outlets and warehouses
• Oversee POS reconciliation and billing accuracy at retail stores
• Track product margins, cost variances, and wastage (especially for perishables)

Key RequirementsQualifications:

• B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / MBA Finance
• Certification in Tally / Zoho Books / ERP tools is a plus

Experience:

• 2–5 years of accounting experience (preferably in FMCG, retail, or e-commerce)
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian financial compliance

Skills:

• Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
• Knowledge of accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, or any ERP)
• Attention to detail and time management
• Strong communication and coordination skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹20,000.00 per month
