Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant with previous experience working in an accounting and tax consultancy firm. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in UAE corporate tax and VAT regulations and have hands-on experience in preparing financial statements and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements in compliance with IFRS and UAE regulations.
• Handle VAT filing, reconciliation, and return submissions.
• Support in corporate tax computation, registration, and filing.
• Maintain and update general ledger accounts and ensure timely month-end closing.
• Assist auditors during internal and external audits.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, and ensure proper documentation.
• Prepare management reports and financial analysis as required.
• Ensure full compliance with FTA and UAE tax laws.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in an accounting and tax firm (UAE experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of VAT, Corporate Tax, and Accounting Standards (IFRS).
• Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, etc.).
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple clients and meet deadlines.
