Core Responsibilities
- Financial Record Keeping: Accurately record and maintain all financial transactions, accounts, and ledgers.
Key Activities
- Account Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and resolve any financial discrepancies or irregularities.
- Payroll and Expense Management: Oversee payroll functions and process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
- Cost Analysis: Perform cost and general ledger analysis to identify areas for improvement.
- Budgeting: Monitor spending, prepare budgets, and manage cash flows effectively.
Skills and Qualifications
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a common requirement.
- Software Proficiency: Experience with accounting software such as Tally
- Soft Skills: Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and effective communication abilities.
- Reporting: Prepare and present financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports.
- Taxation: Calculate and file various types of taxes, ensuring timely submission and providing advice on tax-efficient strategies.
- Auditing: Conduct internal and external audits to verify the accuracy of financial records and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Analysis and Forecasting: Analyze financial data to provide insights, identify risks, and assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial practices and statements comply with regulations
- Manage and handle export shipments
